POSTERS
These posters emphasize the different artistic skills, styles, and ideas I explored in illustration and typography.
I designed this broadside poster for the YSOA Lecture Series using an original architectural photo as the alternative grid.
I found that Futura was my “Go-to” font and created a poster for it. I combined elements of trendy design and Bauhaus style. I chose these colors to contrast and vibrate enough to hurt the viewer's eyes.
Using the violent expressionism of Saul Bass, I created a movie poster for the horror film by David Robert Mitchell. The imagery is based on the first gory scene in the movie.
These posters celebrating St. Petersburg are inspired by the neon lights and exciting nightlife of the city. I created and sold them at Localtopia, a market event for all things local in St. Petersburg.
I explored the combination of illustration and typography for the motivational phrase, "Choose to Shine." This poster accompanied my neon posters sold at Localtopia.
I used the airbrush tool to create a streamlined heroic representation of an Olympic gymnast. This poster is inspired by Paul Roger’s London 2012 poster.
